The singer presented the DVD album "Charisma - spiritual grace"

22 February 2008, Sofia. Dyana Dafova presented the DVD album "Charisma - spiritual grace" yesterday in club "Bibliotekata". More than 100 guests, among whom diplomatics, politicians, representatives of the business and actors had the opportunity to listen to her live performance during the stylish party. Besides the premiere of the album, Dyana presented also the documentary "A night to remember" showing her original performance at her concert in Chicago.

"Tonight is a real celebration for me because I have the opportunity to be with so many friends of the music which leads me through all my life. With my songs, which combine the Bulgarian folklore and orthodox intonation with musical elements from different cultures, I aim to unite the people all over the world", shared her thought Dyana.

Special guests of the event were Prof. Hatcho Boyadjiev, a legend in the Bulgarian TV and film producing, Mr. Toma Sprostranov, another legend from the musical society and Mr. Robert Fry from the United Kingdom, lyrics writer of the texts from the new album on which Dyana is working at the moment. He has been introduced by Dyana's husband and Executive Producer - Manager Michael Butterfield.

Mr. Toma Sprostranov shared with the guests that the publishers "Readers digest" for the first time will include Bulgaria in the issuing of a set of CDs, which will consist of 100 Bulgarian hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and the present decade, one of which will be the song "Charisma".

On 9th of November 2007 Dyana Dafova received a high-level recognition from the senator Rodney Elis, a representative of the legislative authority in Texas, which in December 2007 was followed by a Senate Proclamation N 470 recognizing Dyana's achievements as an ambassador of the Bulgarian musical culture.

On 3rd of March 2008 Dyana Dafova will be special guest performer at an event organized by the Bulgarian Embassy in USA for celebration of the 130 Years Diplomatic Relations between Bulgaria and USA.

Dyana Dafova has graduated the State Academy of Music in Sofia, speciality piano. She has also been studying history of music and has been a performer of classical and jazz ballet. Through the years Dyana has been participating in hundreds of concerts in Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Austria, USA and India. Her music is a combination of different styles with unique sound. Her songs from her last album "Charisma" are a modern combination from Bulgarian folklore and orthodox music. The songs are in different languages: Sanscrit, Celtic, Latin, Italian, Japanese, North American Indian and English bringing together cultures and music from different parts of the world. Winner of the World Music Award "USA Song Writing Competion".
